in-adequate impressions ist eine Projektreihe, in der ich anstrebe, über meinen multi media arte povera - Ansatz einen Eindruck von einem Ort, einer Gegend, oder wie in diesem Fall von einem Land zu vermitteln. Dazu nehme ich den Wind, der dort weht, auf, mache stimmf(i)eld-recordings, in denen meine Stimme in den Klang einer Landschaft eingewoben ist und suche nach accidental art, die ich fotografisch auffange. Und das Feld ist für weitere Fundstücke natürlich offen. Die Eindrücke, die ich sammle, sind also von den eingesetzten Formaten geprägt und andererseits von den sich bietenden Gelegenheiten und meiner Aufmerksamkeit abhängig.
Die Israel-Sammlung ist im Februar 2023 entstanden. Ich verstehe diese online-Ausstellung als erste, unvollständige Studie für das Konzept der in-adequate impressions.
in-adequate impressions is a series of projects, in which I work with my multi media arte povera - approach in order to find and give an impression of a place, a region or like in this case of a country. I record the wind that is blowing there, I do stimmf(i)eld-recordings in which my voice is embedded into the sound of a landscape and I look for accidental art that I collect with my photo camera. The impressions I collect are shaped by the formats I use and depend on the opportunities that I get and notice.
The Israel-collection was created in Feb. 2023. I see this online-exhibition as a first and incomplete study into the concept of in-adequate impressions.
